Pallet Network Operative

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated Pallet Network Operative to join their busy distribution hub in Plymouth . This role is fundamental to the efficient processing and dispatch of palletized freight within a national network. You will be responsible for the safe handling, sorting, and loading of goods, ensuring accuracy and adherence to network standards. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, possess a strong work ethic, and have experience in a warehouse or logistics environment. This is a hands-on role that contributes directly to the success of our client's logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort, scan, and load palletized freight onto vehicles according to network requirements.
• Ensure all freight is handled safely and efficiently to prevent damage.
• Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks and forklifts (if trained).
• Communicate effectively with other team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a warehouse, distribution centre, or logistics environment.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting.
• Experience with pallet handling and loading procedures.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
