The Role
As a Panel Beater / Panel Technician, you'll be responsible for restoring accident-damaged vehicles to manufacturer standards, ensuring every repair is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality.
Key responsibilities include:
- Repairing damaged vehicle panels using approved repair methods.
- Replacing panels and structural components where required.
- Carrying out chassis alignment and body repairs to manufacturer specifications.
- Using specialist body repair equipment and tools safely and effectively.
- Working closely with estimators, paint technicians, and workshop colleagues to maintain an efficient repair process.
- Maintaining excellent repair quality while working within agreed timescales.
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety procedures and manufacturer standards.
- Keeping the workshop clean, organised, and operating efficiently.
About You
This opportunity would suit an experienced Panel Beater / Panel Technician / Body Repair Technician / Vehicle Body Repair Technician who takes pride in producing high-quality repairs.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Panel Beater or Panel Technician within a busy accident repair centre or Bodyshop.
- Recognised apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Body Repair (NVQ/IMI/SVQ/ATA), with ongoing commitment to continuous professional development.
- Strong knowledge of modern vehicle repair techniques.
- Experience using body alignment and repair equipment.
- A high standard of workmanship and excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- A full UK driving licence.
