Parcel Sorter

KPI Recruiting are on the lookout for Parcel Sorters to join our client's busy warehouse team. This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals looking to secure long-term, temp-to-perm work in a fast-paced environment.

As a Parcel Sorter, you will be responsible for sorting, loading, and unloading parcels, which will involve manual lifting of items up to 17kg . You will need to be comfortable with repetitive lifting, moving items safely, and working quickly to meet deadlines.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Sorting parcels accurately based on delivery routes
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
• Lifting and moving parcels weighing up to 17kg
• Maintaining a safe and tidy work area
• Following health & safety procedures at all times

Requirements

• Previous warehouse operative or parcel sorting experience is preferred
• Good level of physical fitness for manual lifting
• Reliability and punctuality are essential
• Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions

PPE Required

• Safety boots
• Hi-vis vest

This role offers competitive pay of £12.71 per hour Morning shift and £13.00 per hour on Night shift and the potential to move into a permanent position after a successful probation period.
