About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and talented Part II Architectural Assistant to join their esteemed practice based in Cardiff . This hybrid role offers the chance to contribute to a wide array of exciting projects, gaining invaluable experience across all RIBA stages. You will work closely with experienced architects, assisting in design development, technical detailing, and project coordination. This position is ideal for an ambitious individual looking to further develop their architectural career within a supportive and dynamic team, with a blend of office-based collaboration and remote working flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior architects in the preparation of design drawings, 3D models, and visualisations.
• Support the technical design process, including the development of planning and building regulation documentation.
• Conduct site visits and surveys as required, documenting findings accurately.
• Undertake research into materials, construction methods, and relevant legislation.
• Contribute to project meetings and collaborate effectively with internal and external project team members.
• Maintain project records and ensure adherence to quality control procedures.

Requirements

• Completed RIBA Part II qualification or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is essential; knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous.
• A strong understanding of UK planning policy and building regulations.
• Excellent drawing, modelling, and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team structure.
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for design excellence.
