⏰ Part-Time Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 12:30pm (flexible), Friday 8:30am to 4:00pm

Are you an experienced School Administrator looking for a rewarding temporary opportunity within a busy and supportive secondary school?
Our client is seeking a proactive and organised Administrator to join their team, providing vital support during a period of internal promotion. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous school administration experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced educational environment and takes pride in delivering outstanding support to staff, pupils, and parents.
The Role
As School Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the school. You will be responsible for managing pupil records, supporting annual reviews, updating local authority systems, and acting as a professional first point of contact for parents and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Providing administrative support to school staff and departments
Processing, maintaining, and updating pupil records and files
Uploading information and documentation to Local Authority portals
Supporting annual review administration
Handling incoming calls and enquiries from parents and external agencies
Managing and distributing calls
Maintaining accurate records and data confidentiality
Providing reception cover on Fridays at the Cosham site
Supporting the wider school team with general administrative dutiesAbout You
We're looking for someone who:
✅ Has previous school administration experience
✅ Has strong organisational and administrative skills
✅ Communicates confidently with parents, staff, and external stakeholders
✅ Has excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
✅ Can manage confidential information professionally
✅ Is confident using IT systems and Microsoft Office packages
✅ Is able to work independently and prioritise a varied workload
Desirable
Experience using Arbor
Driving licence and access to a vehicleWorking Hours
Monday to Thursday: 8:30am to 12:30pm (some flexibility available, including 9:00am to 1:00pm)
Friday: 8:30am to 4:00pm (Reception based in Cosham)Interview Information
