About the Role
Our client, a prominent organization within the Charity & Voluntary sector , is seeking an experienced and strategic Partnership Development Manager to join their team, working entirely on a remote basis. This pivotal role will be responsible for identifying, cultivating, and managing strategic partnerships with corporations, foundations, and other organizations to drive income, enhance programmatic reach, and amplify our impact. You will play a key role in developing mutually beneficial relationships that align with our mission and create sustainable value for all parties involved. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for partnership development, focusing on corporate social responsibility (CSR), sponsorships, and strategic alliances.
- Identify and prospect potential partners whose values and objectives align with the organization's mission.
- Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders within partner organizations.
- Negotiate and formalize partnership agreements, ensuring clear objectives and deliverables.
- Collaborate internally with program, fundraising, and communications teams to ensure successful partnership implementation and reporting.
- Track partnership performance, measure impact, and provide regular reports to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Significant experience in business development, corporate partnerships, or strategic alliances, preferably within the charity sector or a related field.
- Demonstrated success in identifying, securing, and managing high-value partnerships.
- Excellent networking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong understanding of corporate CSR initiatives and how to align them with non-profit needs.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions effectively.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage a geographically dispersed portfolio in a remote setting.
