Our client is seeking a motivated and relationship-focused Partnership Development Officer to expand their network of supporters and collaborators in Bristol . This role is key to identifying, cultivating, and managing strategic partnerships with businesses, community groups, and other organizations. You will be instrumental in securing resources and support that enable the charity to achieve its mission more effectively. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and networking skills, a proactive approach, and a passion for fostering collaborative relationships that drive social impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential strategic partners, including corporations, foundations, and community organizations.
- Develop tailored proposals and presentations to engage prospective partners.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing partners.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure partners receive appropriate recognition and benefit realization.
- Organize and attend networking events and meetings to promote the charity and its work.
- Track partnership activities, outcomes, and contributions, providing regular reports.
Requirements
- Proven experience in partnership development , fundraising, or business development, preferably in the non-profit sector.
- Excellent networking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and influencing abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple relationships and projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in CRM software and reporting tools.
- A proactive and results-oriented approach to achieving objectives.
