About the Role
Our client is seeking a strategic and relationship-focused Partnerships Development Manager to join their team in Wolverhampton . This role is essential for building and nurturing vital partnerships with corporations, community organisations, and other stakeholders to support the charity's mission. You will be responsible for identifying new partnership opportunities, developing mutually beneficial collaborations, and maximising the value of existing relationships. The role operates on a hybrid model, combining remote work with essential in-person meetings and engagements within the local and regional community. Your success will directly contribute to expanding the organisation's reach and impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, cultivate, and secure strategic partnerships with corporate entities, foundations, and community groups.
- Develop compelling partnership proposals and presentations that align with the organisation's goals and potential partners' objectives.
- Manage and steward existing partnerships, ensuring strong relationships and maximising opportunities for collaboration and support.
- Develop and implement partnership strategies to drive fundraising, programme delivery, and advocacy efforts.
- Represent the organisation at external events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive and effective partnership management.
- Track partnership activities, measure impact, and report on progress to senior management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development, partnership management, or corporate relations, preferably within the non-profit sector.
- Demonstrated success in securing and managing strategic partnerships and/or corporate sponsorships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders.
- Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities.
- Proficiency in relationship management and CRM systems.
- Ability to manage a hybrid workload effectively, balancing remote responsibilities with in-person engagement.
