Partnerships Manager - Charity

About the Role

Our client, a respected charity organisation, is seeking a dynamic and relationship-focused Partnerships Manager to build and nurture strategic alliances. This role is key to expanding the charity's reach and impact by collaborating with corporate partners, community groups, and other non-profit organisations in the Reading area. You will be responsible for developing mutually beneficial partnerships that support fundraising goals and programme delivery. Key Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships with corporate entities, community groups, and other organisations.
• Create and implement partnership plans that align with the charity's strategic objectives and fundraising targets.
• Negotiate and finalise partnership agreements, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities.
• Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key partners.
• Develop engaging proposals and presentations to showcase partnership opportunities and impact.
• Organise and support joint activities and events with partners.
• Monitor partnership performance and provide regular reports on progress and outcomes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in business development, corporate social responsibility, or partnership management.
• Demonstrated success in building and managing strategic relationships.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of the non-profit sector and corporate engagement strategies.
• Ability to develop creative and compelling partnership proposals.
• Organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
