Job Description
We are pleased to present an opportunity for a Commercial Vehicle Parts Advisor to join a reputable franchise-approved commercial vehicle dealership in Avonmouth. This Parts Advisor role offers the chance to work with a leading industry brand within a well-established local business. The successful Parts Advisor will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing parts enquiries, and ensuring accurate parts identification and dispatch.

Parts Advisor Duties
- Respond to trade and retail customer parts enquiries via face-to-face, email, and telephone communication
- Accurately identify and process parts orders for collection or next-day dispatch
- Ensure high standard of customer service throughout all interactions
- Carry out parts stock control and inventory management
- Supply parts to HGV technicians within the workshop efficiently
- Cover for the Parts Delivery Driver during their absence when required
- Maintain accurate records using electronic parts catalogue systems (experience with Kerridge/Keyloop is advantageous)
- Support general workshop operations related to parts and stock management
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Parts Advisor within a franchised automotive dealership or motor factor business
- Valuable experience with commercial vehicle parts, though not essential
- Strong IT skills and familiarity with electronic parts catalogues
- Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional manner
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Robust organisational skills and attention to detail
