Job Description
Our client, a well-established automotive business in Glasgow, is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to join their busy distribution centre. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual with a strong background in parts sales and customer service to progress their career within a reputable organisation.

Duties for this Parts Advisor position:
- Achieve and surpass vehicle parts and accessories sales targets through consultative selling and telesales efforts
- Engage with customers via telephone to promote parts, accessories, and related services
- Educate customers on suitable parts to meet their needs both face-to-face and over the phone
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers to support business growth
- Identify and develop new customer opportunities via proactive telesales activities
- Effectively manage customer accounts to ensure retention and maximise sales
- Maintain accurate records for orders and stock, both electronically and on paper
- Provide high-standard customer service aligned with company standards
- Collaborate with colleagues to foster a positive team environment
Requirements for this Parts Advisor position:
- Recent or current experience as a Parts Advisor in the automotive industry
- Experience in telesales or proactive customer communication highly desirable
- Ideally worked within motor factors, franchise-approved dealerships, or similar environments
- Strong communication and telephone skills
- Good knowledge of electronic parts catalogue systems
- Proven experience in customer management and development
- UK driving licence is advantageous but not essential
- Organised and detail-oriented with good IT skills
