Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Parts Advisor position at a reputable car dealership in Farnham. Duties of the Parts Advisor
- Providing efficient and accurate parts service to the workshop team
- Managing parts stock levels and reordering stock, including tyres
- Handling customer enquiries from local garages and trade customers
- Processing daily parts deliveries, checking in stock, and organising incoming parts
- Preparing pre-picks for the service department
- Supporting workshop operations by ensuring timely parts supply to meet repair schedules
- Maintaining high standards of organisation in a fast-paced environment
- Dealing with internal and external customer interactions professionally and efficiently
Requirements of the Parts Advisor
- Previous experience as a Parts Advisor or in a similar role within the automotive sector
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative
- Full driving licence is essential due to location and mobility requirements
- Proactive, enthusiastic attitude towards work
- Knowledge of Kerridge or similar DMS systems is preferred but not essential
