£40,000 Basic Salary | £55,900 OTE | Up to £69,300 at 125% Performance
Lincoln
Permanent | Full Time
45 Hours Per Week | Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm
No Saturday Working Required, except occasional cover if required
Our client, a successful main dealership in Lincoln, is looking for an experienced Parts Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day operation and performance of their busy Parts Department.
This is an excellent opportunity for an established Parts Manager who is looking to join a professional dealership environment with strong earning potential and a well-established team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of 5 Parts Advisors, 3 Drivers and 1 Parts Supervisor, ensuring the department operates efficiently while delivering excellent levels of service and maximising departmental performance.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Manage the day-to-day operation of the Parts Department.
* Lead, motivate and develop the Parts team to achieve departmental targets.
* Oversee parts ordering, stock control and distribution.
* Ensure parts are supplied efficiently to the workshop and retail customers.
* Monitor departmental performance, profitability and productivity.
* Maintain effective stock management and minimise obsolete or excess stock.
* Ensure accurate processing of parts orders and invoices.
* Work closely with the Aftersales and Workshop teams to ensure smooth operations.
* Maintain excellent relationships with suppliers and internal departments.
* Ensure all departmental processes and procedures are followed.
* Monitor customer satisfaction and ensure a consistently high level of service.
* Support and develop the existing Parts Supervisor and wider team.
Your Background & Skills
* Previous Parts Manager experience is essential.
* Strong experience managing and developing a Parts Department.
* Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
* Strong understanding of parts ordering, stock control and departmental processes.
* Commercially aware with a strong focus on profitability and performance.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Able to work effectively in a busy dealership environment.
* Prestige or BMW experience would be advantageous.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
