Salary: £28,000-£32,000 per annum

The Opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of an automotive engine specialist supplying internal engine components to the automotive industry.
They are looking for an organised, customer-focused Parts Specialist to join their team. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will help customers identify the right components, respond to enquiries and support sales activity in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming customer calls and emails, providing helpful and accurate responses.
- Identify the engine components customers require using catalogue systems.
- Recommend suitable additional products to support customer needs and generate add-on sales.
- Make proactive customer calls, gather information and accurately record outcomes.
- Develop your knowledge of the company's product range, catalogue systems and point-of-sale platform.
- Work closely with colleagues to maintain accuracy, efficiency and a high standard of service.
About You
- At least one year's automotive industry experience is essential.
- Good knowledge of automotive vehicles.
- Confident communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
- Reliable, self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive team player who takes pride in completing work accurately.
- Able to reliably commute to Royston, SG8 6NT.
