This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, achieving results, and providing exceptional support to trade and retail customers. Whether you already have experience in automotive parts sales or come from a strong customer service or telesales background, we'd love to hear from you.
As part of a supportive and collaborative team, you'll play a key role in helping customers identify, source, and order the parts they need while contributing to the success of one of the UK's leading automotive parts businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound sales calls with trade and retail customers.
- Identify, source, and supply vehicle parts accurately and efficiently.
- Build lasting customer relationships through excellent service and product knowledge.
- Generate sales opportunities and proactively promote Parts Plus products and services.
- Prepare quotations, process orders, and follow up customer enquiries.
- Work towards individual and team sales targets while maintaining outstanding customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with warehouse, delivery, and workshop teams to ensure timely fulfilment of orders.
- Maintain accurate customer, pricing, and sales records using internal systems.
- Stay up to date with automotive parts, products, promotions, and industry developments.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in telesales, automotive parts, customer service, retail, or a sales environment would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A confident and professional telephone manner.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- A proactive approach and passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
- Knowledge of automotive parts would be beneficial; however, full training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Basic IT skills and confidence using computer-based systems.
