Pay and Reward Specialist

Role Overview

The role will focus on arranging placements and care packages for adults within agreed timeframes, budgets, and quality standards. This includes residential and nursing placements, domiciliary care, supported living, daytime support, and complex or specialist packages, including hospital discharge placements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex and high-risk job evaluation, grading and appeal cases.

• Provide authoritative advice to managers, HR colleagues and senior stakeholders.

• Ensure the consistent application of job evaluation frameworks and pay policies.

• Provide strategic oversight and quality assurance across pay, reward and payroll matters.

• Lead pay-related aspects of organisational change and restructuring, including job design, pay modelling and labour market research.

• Analyse workforce and pay data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.

• Oversee pay policy, equal pay audits, pay reporting and wider assurance activity.
