About the Role
Our client is looking for a meticulous and reliable Payroll Administrator to join their finance and HR functions in Brighton . This role is vital for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees, adhering to strict deadlines and statutory requirements. You will manage all aspects of the payroll cycle, from data input to final BACS submission, and act as a point of contact for employee payroll queries. Working within a hybrid model, you will enjoy a blend of office-based collaboration and remote flexibility. Key Responsibilities
- Process weekly/monthly payroll accurately and efficiently using payroll software.
- Manage joiners, leavers, and changes to employee terms and conditions.
- Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations, including tax, NI, and pension deductions.
- Handle employee payroll queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Prepare payroll reports for management and finance departments.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a payroll administration role is essential.
- Familiarity with current payroll legislation and procedures.
- Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
