About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and precise Payroll Administrator to manage their payroll processing efficiently. This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from any location within the UK. You will be responsible for ensuring that all employees are paid accurately and on time, managing statutory deductions, and staying up-to-date with payroll legislation. Key Responsibilities
- Process weekly and monthly payroll accurately and within strict deadlines.
- Calculate and manage statutory deductions, including PAYE, National Insurance, and pensions.
- Administer employee benefits, such as sick pay, holiday pay, and maternity/paternity pay.
- Ensure compliance with current payroll legislation and company policies.
- Respond to employee queries regarding payroll and expenses.
- Maintain accurate employee payroll records and assist with payroll audits.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar payroll role.
- In-depth knowledge of UK payroll regulations, PAYE, NI, and pension auto-enrolment.
- Experience with payroll software (e.g., Sage Payroll, Xero Payroll, Star) and HR systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for remote interaction.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality in a remote setting .
