Key Responsibilities
- Process weekly or monthly payroll accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations, including PAYE, NI, and statutory payments.
- Manage employee data, including starters, leavers, and changes to terms and conditions.
- Process expenses, benefits, and pension contributions.
- Respond to payroll-related queries from employees and external bodies.
- Assist with payroll reconciliations and month-end reporting.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar payroll role.
- Knowledge of UK payroll legislation and current tax and NI rates.
- Proficiency with payroll software (e.g., Sage Payroll, Xero Payroll) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
