Payroll Officer

Payroll Officer Location: County Fermanagh Contract: Full-Time Salary: Excellent Salary & Benefits Package Hays Accountancy & Finance are recruiting on behalf of a leading employer in County Fermanagh for a Payroll Officer to join their is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional looking to develop their career within a well-established organisation, supporting a busy payroll function and ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. The RoleReporting to the Payroll Manager, key responsibilities will include: Preparation and processing of payroll Maintaining accurate payroll records and ensuring data integrity Reconciling and validating payroll data prior to processing Processing statutory payments including SSP and SMP Responding to payroll-related employee queries Preparing and submitting payroll reports, including RTI submissions Assisting with month-end and year-end payroll activities Supporting pension administration and contribution processing Liaising with HR and Finance teams to ensure payroll accuracy Assisting with payroll system improvements and testing activities About YouTo be considered for this role, you should have: Previous experience within a payroll or payroll administration position A good understanding of payroll processes, legislation and statutory obligations Experience using payroll software and Microsoft Office applications Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication and organisational skills The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines A professional and confidential approach to handling sensitive information What's on Offer?
