Full-Time Temp to Perm Opportunity
Prospero Teaching is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Minehead on a full-time basis. This is an exciting temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate, offering the chance to become a valued member of the school's permanent teaching team.
The successful candidate will predominantly teach Physical Education across Key Stages 3 and 4, alongside a small allocation of Design Technology (DT) lessons. All DT lessons are fully planned, and resources will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for a PE specialist who is willing to support another curriculum area.
The Role
- Full-time PE Teacher position within a secondary school
- Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons to students across KS3 and KS4
- Teach a small number of DT lessons using pre-planned schemes of work and resources
- Foster positive relationships with students and promote high standards of behaviour and achievement
- Work collaboratively with an experienced and supportive school team
- Temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching PE within a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Confident adapting to different learning needs and abilities
