About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, scope, and execute penetration tests on web applications, networks, and systems.
• Identify vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and security flaws using various testing methodologies and tools.
• Perform security assessments, including vulnerability scanning, social engineering, and exploit development.
• Document and present detailed findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with development and IT teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities.
• Stay current with the latest exploitation techniques, threat vectors, and security best practices.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in performing penetration testing and security assessments.
• Proficiency with penetration testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap).
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and web application security.
• Experience in scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation of security tasks.
• Knowledge of common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10) and their remediation.
• Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
