The Opportunity

We are partnering with a leading pensions and administration organisation to recruit a Pensions Systems Developer to join a specialist technology team supporting a large-scale pensions administration environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pensions systems professional to play a key role in the configuration, support and ongoing enhancement of a market-leading pensions administration platform. Working closely with internal stakeholders and third-party software providers, you will help deliver system improvements, technical solutions and platform enhancements that drive operational efficiency and improve the member experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, configure and enhance functionality across the pensions administration platform, including workflows, calculations, reporting, integrations and document production.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for system users and operational teams.
• Collaborate with project, change and business teams to deliver platform enhancements and new functionality.
• Support testing and quality assurance activities to ensure reliable system releases.
• Contribute to development planning, sprint activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Produce and analyse reporting to demonstrate the impact of system developments and enhancements.
• Ensure all development activity adheres to governance, quality and change management standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues, helping to build systems expertise across the wider business.

About You

We're looking for someone with:

• Experience supporting and developing defined benefit pensions administration systems.
• Strong understanding of pensions operations, processes and administration technology.
• Experience delivering system improvements and business-critical enhancements.
