Level 2 Pest Control Technician – Van Based
Location: Middlesbrough & Surrounding Areas
Salary: Circa £29,000 + Overtime + Commission
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Start: Immediate start available for the right candidate
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Level 2 Pest Control Technician to join an established pest control business, covering Middlesbrough and the surrounding areas.
This is a van-based position offering a competitive basic salary of circa £29,000, with the opportunity to increase earnings through overtime and commission.
The Role
As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customers across the Middlesbrough area, carrying out inspections, treatments and preventative pest control services.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Carrying out routine pest control inspections and treatments
* Identifying and treating a range of pest issues
* Managing your own diary and customer portfolio
* Providing customers with professional advice and recommendations
* Completing service reports and relevant documentation
* Identifying opportunities for additional pest control services
* Maintaining high standards of customer service
* Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with industry regulations
Requirements
The successful candidate will ideally have:
* Level 2 / RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management or equivalent
* Previous experience working as a Pest Control Technician
* A full UK driving licence
* Good knowledge of common pest species, treatments and prevention methods
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* The ability to manage your own workload and work independently
