Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Supervisor

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a production team in Oxford . This role is essential for overseeing the daily operations of our manufacturing facility, ensuring that production targets are met efficiently, safely, and in compliance with stringent pharmaceutical quality standards. You will be responsible for managing a team of manufacturing operators, troubleshooting production issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on leadership position critical to our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide a team of pharmaceutical manufacturing operators, ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols.
• Oversee daily production activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and production targets.
• Monitor manufacturing processes, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and all relevant regulatory requirements.
• Train and mentor team members on manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
• Solid understanding of GMP principles and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
• Experience with various manufacturing equipment and technologies.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
