Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technician

About the Role

Our client is looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technician to join their production team in Sunderland . This role is essential for the consistent and safe production of high-quality pharmaceutical products. You will operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, ensuring adherence to strict Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines. Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, including reactors, tablet presses, and packaging lines.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and batch records meticulously during production runs.
• Record all production activities accurately in batch documentation and electronic systems.
• Identify and report any deviations or equipment malfunctions to supervisory staff immediately.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the pharmaceutical or food industry.
• Understanding of GMP principles and safety protocols.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively in a team.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
