Pharmaceutical Process Engineer

Our client is seeking a dedicated Pharmaceutical Process Engineer to join their manufacturing operations team in Stoke-on-Trent . You will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, troubleshooting production issues, and implementing process improvements to enhance yield and quality. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and scale-up pharmaceutical manufacturing processes to meet production demands and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during production runs, ensuring minimal disruption.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality and yield.
• Ensure all process activities comply with cGMP, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Participate in the design, installation, and validation of new manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Develop and deliver training to production operators on new processes and equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in process engineering, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry .
• Solid understanding of cGMP principles and regulatory requirements in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Experience with process validation, qualification, and technology transfer.
• Proficiency in process simulation software and statistical process control (SPC) tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
