Our client is seeking a skilled Pharmaceutical Process Engineer to join their growing team in Plymouth . In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes for pharmaceutical products. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
- Develop process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and other engineering documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
- Conduct process validation activities and write validation protocols and reports.
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless process transfer and integration.
- Stay current with new technologies and best practices in pharmaceutical process engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in process engineering within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven experience with process scale-up, optimization, and validation.
- Knowledge of cGMP regulations and pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.
- Proficiency in process simulation software and engineering design tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
