Pharmaceutical Production Supervisor

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Pharmaceutical Production Supervisor to oversee manufacturing operations in Reading . This role is responsible for leading a team of production operators to ensure the efficient and compliant manufacturing of high-quality pharmaceutical products. You will manage daily production schedules, enforce safety and quality standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining operational excellence and meeting production targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage a team of production operators, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Ensure all manufacturing activities are conducted in compliance with GMP , safety regulations, and company policies.
• Oversee the execution of production schedules, ensuring timely completion of batches and adherence to targets.
• Monitor production equipment and processes, identifying and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Implement and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or engineering field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and pharmaceutical production processes.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a production team.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
