Pharmaceutical Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned and highly organized Pharmaceutical Project Manager to lead diverse projects within their strategic development and commercialization teams in Nottingham . This role requires exceptional leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams through the complex stages of pharmaceutical development, from research and clinical trials to regulatory submission and market launch. You will be responsible for defining project scope, managing timelines, budgets, and resources, and ensuring effective communication among all stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical lifecycle, proven project management methodologies, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and finalize pharmaceutical projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Lead and motivate project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring clear communication channels.
• Track project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage relationships with external partners, vendors, and regulatory agencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or business-related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management within the pharmaceutical industry .
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
• Strong knowledge of the drug development process , including R&D, clinical trials, regulatory affairs, and manufacturing.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
