About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Pharmaceutical Project Manager to lead critical projects within their drug development pipeline, based in their Derby facility with hybrid work flexibility. This role demands a strategic thinker with proven experience in managing complex, cross-functional projects from initiation through to completion. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals in the pharmaceutical sector . The successful candidate will excel in a collaborative environment, driving projects forward with strong leadership and meticulous attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage cross-functional project teams through the full project lifecycle, from concept to launch.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies effectively.
• Facilitate effective communication among project team members, stakeholders, and senior management.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements, GMP standards, and company policies throughout project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific, technical, or business field; advanced degree or PMP certification is a plus.
• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Project Manager in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with a strong understanding of drug development processes.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex projects involving R&D, clinical trials, manufacturing, or regulatory affairs.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and methodologies.
