Pharmaceutical Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Pharmaceutical Project Manager to oversee diverse projects within their R&D and commercial operations. This role is fully remote, allowing you to manage projects and collaborate with teams across different locations and time zones. You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and successful delivery of key pharmaceutical initiatives, from early-stage development through to product launch and lifecycle management. This position demands exceptional leadership, organizational skills, and a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage cross-functional project teams to achieve project objectives within scope, budget, and timeline.
• Develop detailed project plans, including defining milestones, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement corrective actions proactively.
• Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) , GMP, and other relevant regulatory standards.
• Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and provide regular status reports to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific, technical, or business-related field. PMP certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects from initiation to completion.
• Strong understanding of the drug development process , regulatory affairs, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
