About the Role

Our client, a globally recognized leader in the pharmaceutical industry , is seeking a highly organized and experienced Pharmaceutical Project Manager to join their collaborative team in Cambridge . This pivotal role involves overseeing complex drug development projects from conception through to regulatory submission and launch. You will be responsible for defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables, while ensuring effective cross-functional team collaboration and resource allocation. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage cross-functional project teams, ensuring successful execution of drug development projects.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource requirements, and risk assessments.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate effective communication among team members, stakeholders, and senior management.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all quality and regulatory standards.
• Manage external vendor relationships and contracts relevant to project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific or technical field; advanced degree (PhD or MBA) is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector.
• Proven track record of successfully managing drug development projects through various phases.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical R&D processes, regulatory affairs, and clinical trial operations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA) and a commitment to hybrid working in Cambridge .
