Pharmaceutical Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Pharmaceutical Project Manager to lead critical drug development projects from inception through to regulatory submission. This fully remote position allows you to manage diverse project teams and timelines from anywhere, contributing to the advancement of groundbreaking pharmaceutical products. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget, while fostering a collaborative and productive remote working environment for your teams based in and around Reading .

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional project teams in the planning, execution, and delivery of pharmaceutical development projects.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
• Facilitate effective communication among project team members, stakeholders, and senior management.
• Ensure adherence to project milestones, regulatory requirements, and company objectives.
• Manage external vendor relationships and collaborations as required by project scope.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific discipline or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex drug development projects.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical R&D processes and regulatory affairs.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with project management software and collaboration tools for remote teams.
