About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance Specialist to join their quality team in Belfast . This role is crucial in ensuring that all pharmaceutical products manufactured and distributed meet stringent quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements. You will be instrumental in maintaining and improving the company's Quality Management System (QMS). This position offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to product safety and efficacy within a well-established pharmaceutical company that values precision and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the review and approval of batch records, specifications, and validation documents.
- Conduct internal audits and support external regulatory inspections and customer audits.
- Investigate deviations, non-conformances, and customer complaints, implementing corrective and preventative actions (CAPAs).
- Maintain and update Quality Management System (QMS) documentation, including SOPs and work instructions.
- Monitor and report on key quality metrics and performance indicators.
- Provide training to personnel on quality standards and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong understanding of cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and relevant regulatory guidelines (e.g., MHRA).
- Experience with audit processes and deviation management.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a hybrid team in Belfast .
