About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance Specialist to join their quality team in Cardiff . This role is essential for maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance within the pharmaceutical manufacturing and distribution processes. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring all operations adhere to regulatory standards such as GMP. This position is perfect for an individual passionate about quality control and assurance, who wants to contribute to ensuring the safety and efficacy of pharmaceutical products from a fully remote work setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct internal audits and support external regulatory inspections and client audits.
- Review and approve batch records, validation documents, and change control requests.
- Investigate deviations and out-of-specification (OOS) results, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
- Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant quality standards.
- Provide training to staff on quality procedures and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong understanding of GMP, ICH guidelines, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with audit procedures, documentation review, and CAPA systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a remote environment.
