Pharmaceutical Quality Control Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Pharmaceutical Quality Control Analyst to join their laboratory team in Reading . This role is essential for ensuring the quality and integrity of our pharmaceutical products by performing rigorous testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods. You will work with state-of-the-art analytical equipment and adhere strictly to GMP guidelines and company procedures. The ideal candidate is passionate about quality, possesses strong analytical skills, and is committed to maintaining the highest standards in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of analytical tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished pharmaceutical products using established methods.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and performance.
• Accurately record and document all testing results, deviations, and observations in laboratory notebooks and LIMS.
• Analyze test data, identify any out-of-specification results, and participate in investigations.
• Prepare reagents, standards, and samples for testing as required.
• Adhere strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and all company safety and quality procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related scientific discipline.
• 1-3 years of experience in a Quality Control laboratory environment, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Familiarity with common analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis spectrophotometry, and dissolution testing.
• Understanding of GMP principles and laboratory safety practices.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data recording and reporting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a laboratory setting.
