About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Pharmaceutical Quality Control Analyst to join their established team in Cardiff . This crucial role involves performing a wide range of analytical tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished pharmaceutical products to ensure they meet stringent quality and safety standards. You will work within a state-of-the-art laboratory, utilizing advanced analytical techniques and adhering to strict Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and non-routine analytical testing of pharmaceutical products using techniques such as HPLC, GC, spectroscopy, and dissolution testing.
- Prepare reagents, calibrate equipment, and maintain laboratory records in accordance with GMP and GLP standards.
- Analyze test results, identify deviations from specifications, and report findings accurately.
- Participate in method validation and verification activities for new and existing analytical procedures.
- Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to investigate and resolve quality-related issues.
Requirements
- BSc or MSc in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related scientific discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical quality control or analytical laboratory setting.
- Proficiency in using analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, and FTIR.
- Familiarity with GMP, GLP, and regulatory requirements within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of data integrity.
