Pharmaceutical Quality Control Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent Pharmaceutical Quality Control Analyst to join their testing laboratory in Liverpool . In this role, you will perform a variety of analytical tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished pharmaceutical products to ensure they meet established quality specifications and regulatory standards. You will work with sophisticated laboratory equipment and play a crucial part in the quality assurance of medicinal products, contributing to patient safety through accurate and timely testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing on pharmaceutical samples using various techniques (e.g., HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, KF).
• Prepare reagents, standards, and samples for testing.
• Document all testing procedures, results, and observations accurately and in compliance with GMP.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Identify and report any deviations from specifications or test procedures to the QC Supervisor.
• Participate in method validation and transfer activities as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a pharmaceutical Quality Control laboratory environment is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with common analytical instrumentation and techniques.
• Understanding of GMP principles and laboratory safety practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions precisely.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively.
