Pharmaceutical Quality Control Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and precise Pharmaceutical Quality Control Analyst to join their laboratory team in Cambridge . This role is vital in ensuring the quality and safety of pharmaceutical products by performing a range of analytical tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods. Key Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing on raw materials, intermediates, and finished pharmaceutical products using various laboratory techniques.
• Operate and maintain analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis spectrophotometers, and dissolution apparatus.
• Accurately document all testing procedures, results, and observations in accordance with GMP requirements.
• Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and deviations, participating in root cause analysis.
• Prepare reagents and standards required for analytical testing.
• Ensure compliance with all laboratory safety procedures and environmental regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, or a related scientific discipline.
• 1-3 years of experience in a Quality Control laboratory, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proficiency in using common analytical instruments and techniques.
• Strong understanding of GMP principles and laboratory documentation practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data recording and reporting.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage laboratory tasks efficiently.
