Pharmaceutical Quality Control Analyst

About the Role

Our client, a prominent player in the pharmaceutical industry, is seeking a detail-oriented Pharmaceutical Quality Control Analyst to join their vital Quality Assurance department in Milton Keynes . This position is essential for ensuring that all manufactured pharmaceutical products meet stringent quality standards and regulatory compliance. You will perform a variety of analytical tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products, contributing directly to the safety and efficacy of the medications produced. Key Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing on raw materials, intermediates, and finished pharmaceutical products using techniques such as HPLC, GC, and spectroscopy.
• Document all testing activities, results, and deviations accurately and meticulously in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Prepare samples, reagents, and solutions required for testing.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
• Review and approve laboratory data, ensuring compliance with established specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in deviation investigations and assist in the implementation of corrective and preventative actions (CAPAs).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical Quality Control laboratory environment.
• Proficiency with analytical instrumentation, particularly HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, and IR spectroscopy.
• Strong understanding of GMP principles and regulatory guidelines relevant to the pharmaceutical industry.
• Excellent record-keeping and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced laboratory setting.
