Pharmaceutical Quality Control Analyst

About the Role

Our client seeks a meticulous Pharmaceutical Quality Control Analyst to join their dedicated team in Milton Keynes . This role is essential for ensuring the quality, safety, and efficacy of pharmaceutical products by performing rigorous analytical testing. You will work within a state-of-the-art laboratory, contributing to the maintenance of stringent quality standards and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using various instrumental and wet chemistry techniques.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis spectrophotometers, and dissolution apparatus.
• Accurately document all testing procedures, results, and observations in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and deviations, and participate in root cause analysis.
• Review and approve analytical data and batch records generated by junior analysts.
• Contribute to method validation and transfer activities as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pharmaceutical quality control or analytical laboratory setting.
• Proficiency in analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, and Karl Fischer titration.
• Strong understanding of GMP principles and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EMA).
• Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
