Pharmacovigilance Officer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a vigilant and proactive Pharmacovigilance Officer to join their safety surveillance team, operating remotely to support their operations in Bradford . This vital role is responsible for monitoring the safety of pharmaceutical products, collecting and evaluating adverse event reports, and ensuring compliance with global pharmacovigilance regulations. You will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and product integrity. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and assess adverse event reports from various sources according to regulatory requirements and company procedures.
• Ensure timely reporting of adverse events to regulatory authorities and other relevant parties.
• Conduct literature reviews to identify potential safety signals and contribute to signal detection activities.
• Maintain pharmacovigilance databases and ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in the preparation of safety reports, including Periodic Safety Update Reports (PSURs).
• Support audits and inspections related to pharmacovigilance activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Nursing, Life Sciences, or a related healthcare field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety.
• Familiarity with global pharmacovigilance regulations and guidelines (e.g., GVP, FDA regulations).
• Experience with safety databases and adverse event reporting systems.
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team setting.
