About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacovigilance Specialist to join their drug safety team in Liverpool . This role is essential for monitoring the safety of pharmaceutical products post-marketing, ensuring patient safety is paramount. You will be responsible for the collection, assessment, and reporting of adverse event data. Working in a hybrid capacity, you will collaborate with regulatory affairs, clinical development, and medical information departments to maintain a robust safety profile for all marketed drugs. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, review, and process adverse event reports from various sources.
• Assess case narratives and determine seriousness and causality.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of safety data to regulatory authorities.
• Maintain the pharmacovigilance database, ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Contribute to the preparation of safety update reports and periodic safety update reports (PSURs).
• Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders on safety-related matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Nursing, Life Sciences, or a related healthcare field.
• 2+ years of experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety.
• Strong understanding of global pharmacovigilance regulations and guidelines (e.g., GVP, FDA regulations).
• Experience with safety databases (e.g., Argus, ARISg).
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication.
