About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacovigilance Specialist to join their safety monitoring team, operating remotely from Glasgow . This vital role involves ensuring the safety of patients by meticulously collecting, assessing, and reporting adverse event data for pharmaceutical products. You will play a key part in maintaining regulatory compliance and contributing to the ongoing safety profile assessment of medicinal products. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and evaluate adverse event reports from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Perform case assessment, including causality evaluation, and determine appropriate follow-up actions based on regulatory requirements and company procedures.
• Prepare and submit regulatory safety reports (e.g., Periodic Safety Update Reports - PSURs, Development Safety Update Reports - DSURs) in a timely manner.
• Monitor safety databases and literature for emerging safety signals, contributing to risk management activities.
• Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Operations) and external partners to ensure seamless safety reporting.
• Stay up-to-date with global pharmacovigilance regulations, guidelines, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a life science, pharmacy, nursing, or related healthcare field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Pharmacovigilance or drug safety monitoring.
• Strong understanding of global regulatory requirements for adverse event reporting (e.g., FDA, EMA, MHRA).
• Proficiency in using pharmacovigilance databases and safety reporting systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively in a remote setting.
