Pharmacovigilance Specialist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacovigilance Specialist to join their dedicated safety team. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and document adverse event reports from various sources.
• Perform initial assessment and coding of adverse events using standardized medical dictionaries (e.g., MedDRA).
• Prepare and submit safety reports to regulatory authorities within strict deadlines.
• Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders regarding safety information.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of pharmacovigilance procedures and training materials.
• Participate in safety signal detection and risk management activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Nursing, Life Sciences, or a related healthcare field.
• Previous experience (2+ years) in pharmacovigilance or drug safety is essential.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for adverse event reporting in key markets (e.g., UK, EU, US).
• Familiarity with safety databases and MedDRA coding.
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
