Job Description
Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join the NHS on an ongoing temporary contarct based at Royal Blackburn Hospital. This is a part-time role working 22.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide pharmacy technician support within the Corporate Pharmacy service.
* Contribute to the delivery of a safe, effective and high-quality medicines management service.
* Support pharmacy activities and services within the Pendle View Unit.
* Work collaboratively with pharmacists, pharmacy colleagues and wider clinical teams.
* Ensure medicines-related processes are completed accurately and in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
* Support the safe and effective use of medicines across the service.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure appropriate documentation is completed.
* Promote good medicines management practice and contribute to patient safety.
* Work in accordance with NHS policies, pharmacy procedures and professional standards.
Requirements:
* Current Pharmacy Technician registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
* Previous experience working as a Pharmacy Technician.
* Experience within an NHS or hospital pharmacy environment is desirable
