About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver dynamic and effective physics lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
• Develop students' understanding of core physics concepts, theories, and practical applications.
• Create a stimulating and safe learning environment that encourages scientific curiosity and investigation.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methodologies and resources, including practical experiments and modern technology.
• Assess student progress through appropriate methods, providing timely feedback and support.
• Contribute to the broader science department, collaborating with colleagues on curriculum development and school initiatives.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Physics or a closely related scientific discipline.
• Demonstrated experience teaching Physics at the secondary or A-level stage.
• Strong subject matter expertise and enthusiasm for teaching physics.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
