Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-compliant physics lessons for secondary school students, covering a broad range of topics.
• Design and supervise practical experiments, ensuring student safety and maximising learning outcomes.
• Develop students' analytical and problem-solving skills through inquiry-based learning and scientific reasoning.
• Assess student progress through examinations, coursework, and practical assessments, providing clear and constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the science department to enhance the curriculum and share best teaching practices.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• A degree in Physics or a closely related science discipline.
• Proven experience teaching physics at the secondary school level.
• Strong understanding of physics concepts and the ability to explain them clearly.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
