Shift Uplift: Additional 12.5% available, increasing earnings to £41,343 - £44,988
Shift Pattern:
6:00am - 2:00pm 2:00pm - 10:00pm

The Opportunity
As a Pipe Fitter, you'll be responsible for the installation, assembly, and overhaul of pipework systems and mechanical components on passenger rail vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble and install pipework systems and mechanical components. Measure, cut, bend, and fit a variety of pipework materials. Carry out brazing and joining activities to a high standard. Work from engineering drawings, schematics, and technical instructions. Ensure all work is completed in line with quality and safety standards. Support major refurbishment and overhaul projects on passenger trains.

Suitable Backgrounds Include:
Pipe Fitting Plumbing HVAC Installation & Maintenance Commercial Pipe Installation Mechanical Assembly Brazing and Copper Pipework
Ideal Experience:
Experience using hand tools and power tools. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexible approach to working rotating shift patterns.
Essential Requirements
Full UK Driving Licence. Ability to pass a medical assessment, including Drug & Alcohol screening. Right to work in the UK.
